I guess this last snow is being called the blizzard of 2006. We have gotten a quite abit of snow today. I peeked out the window at 3:30 am (when Gracie woke me up) and it had just started. By 7:00am there was a ton of snow. The kids did not have school today and tomorrow, because of parent/teacher conferences, so we did not have to worry about that. The wind and snow blew hard until 4ish. Rod spent several hours shoveling the driveway and road, so he can get out in the morning. The kids have been playing outside for about an hour now. It is a wet and heavy snow, so they will be soaked!

The second picture is our back patio. There is at least 15 inches of snow on that table!

Here is our brillant baby.... reading already! Actually, this is the only picture I was able to get of her "reading". The rest of the pictures, she was eating the book! I wonder secret flavor it is?

We are one step closer to our dream coming true! Our adoption worker came by tonight and picked up the rest of our paperwork. She will have everything turned in by Tuesday. Now we just have to wait for the official date! Hopefully we should know the date within a couple of weeks.

On Monday, I received the official termination papers in the mail. There is a little confusion on how long we have to wait for the appeal to be over and counting from what date. Termination was September 21 and the judge signed the order on October 16. I have had three different professionals tell me three different answers. Is it 30 or 45 days and counting from September 21 or October 16. To be safe, we probably will get a date for the first part of December.

YEAH!!! Christmas will be coming early this year! I am actually starting to believe that this really could happen. It still feels a little surreal.

Did you know that I do not like hats on my head?

I have learned how to pull them off! haaa haaa

Maybe if I eat them, mom will not put those awful hats on my head!

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL

I have been wanting to take pictures of the kiddos for about a week. The weather has not cooperated with me, until today. By looking at this sunny picture, you would never know that this morning, there was fog so thick, that it made it hard to drive Tasha to school. I had almost given up getting a picture with all four kids awake, happy and home. Tahsa didn't have to work today and the weather was nice, so I grabbed the camera while I still could.

The kids didn't complain too much that they had to lay on wet leaves and grass... and dog poo! Just kidding, we cleaned that up first.
